Hargreaves recruitment have the pleasure of working with a client in the Sheffield that provide solutions to clients within the technology sector
The role will be a stand alone position and would suit someone that has both generalist and ER experience within the HR sector
 
No two days are the same with this client and they would really welcome someone that will pick apart the current processes and deliver some real foundations to the HR function .
 
The client is looking for someone that can have an outside the box approach to HR and will really drive long standing relationships with key stake holders
 
Ideally you will have a minimal notice period within 0 – 2 weeks as this is a business critical role
 
We are looking for Individuals that can :-
    • Build strong working relations with Operations and Senior Management, supporting them within the business.
    • Knowledge of employment law, ability to write/review contracts and provide guidance to management
    • Guide and advise management on HR matters both within ER and generalist areas
    • Write and review policies, ensuring they are fit for purpose, communicated to staff and followed consistently and fairly
    • Write / maintain job specifications for all roles
    • Responsible for recruitment and selection of staff via agency and direct routes
    • Look at improving staff retention
    • Performance manage staff in the areas of development, objective setting, appraisals and discipline
    • Interaction with payroll – provide details for starters / leavers and absence detail
    • Reporting on HR stats – absence, sickness, holidays and look to make recommendations to improve
    • Knowledge of employment rates and scales in the sector and geographical areas
    • Conduct file audits to make sure all correct documentation is held
    • Review divisional benefits and align within the group
 
Technical & People Skills:
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Familiarity with HR systems, and report writing
    • Working to tight deadlines and changing priorities
    • Reviewing and developing processes and procedures
 
Impact & Influence:
    • Experience of working with external system providers to gain the best experience for our users
    • Experience of influencing at a senior level
    • Experience of handling individual employee queries
    • Confidence to challenge poor practise and ability to influence this in a constructive coaching manner 
    • Highly organised with ability to forward plan 3/6/12 months in advance
