Business Development Manager – Manchester
£20,000 – £23,000 DOE
Location: Remote, with offices in Manchester
 
Salary: £20k – £23k basic
 
Bonus – £12k – £20k
 
Our client’s mission is to focus on innovation and efficiency within the interactive FinTech industry. They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to help them with this, joining their small team based in Manchester. Specialising in credit report products, they are leading the FinTech market with their “straight talking” approach. The dynamic group of people you will join across the UK & US have a wealth of experience in consumer credit, affiliate marketing and revenue generation.
 
Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
      • Developing new business from scratch, you will prospect your potential target market, make sales calls to identify a need for the product, develop and close sales opportunities.
      • Research your market and competitors consistently to ensure that you stay a step ahead of the competition and are constantly looking for cross-sell opportunities within your client base
      • Working to monthly revenue growth targets
      • Focusing on exceptional quality of work, always providing the highest level of customer service
      • Organising and planning own work and diary to ensure sales targets are met
      • Completing administrative tasks in accordance with Company procedure and timescale
 
 
 
What you’ll need to succeed:
    • Strong B2B sales experience – minimum of 2 years is preferable
    • Confident and outgoing – someone full of drive and enthusiasm is needed to make a success of this role!
    • Excellent communication skills – somebody who can articulate well and build excitement around the product as well as build lasting relationships with clients
    • Ability to overcome objections positively
    • Competent IT skills
    • Team player with ability to shine as an individual
    • Good organisational skills and ability to use own initiative
    • Experience of working to and achieving targets
    • Excellent time keeping and punctuality
 
The successful candidate will work in a positive and ‘fun’ team environment where you will receive ongoing training and support. Although this is advertised as a Business Development Manager role, this new hybrid position also takes the shape of a Partnership Manager role, as you will be expected to build relationships with existing accounts as well as the new ones you bring on board – continually providing an excellent level of customer care to ensure the ongoing business relationship flourishes.
